Currenty recruiting for a professional high calibre field sales account manager. This is a field based role covering the South East. My client is a global player in gases and engineering sector. Excellent career development opportunities for the right candidate.You will secure new or competition business with portfolio customers across Client's full PSO, with focus on the specialist requirements of Research sectorNegotiate prices and contracts with portfolio customers for profit maximisationSupport Client's (engineering) projects at customer sitesSupport the wider sales community (e.g. Key Customers, Process or Manufacturing industries where relevant)Plan and implement a strategy for the accounts to achieve growth, pricing, and contracting targetsYou will engage in relevant campaign/promotion activityWork with the rest of the business to resolve customer queries and issues, including actively supporting the debt performance processDevelop a wide internal network of contacts across departments and functions to assist with the service delivery and growth of the customer baseDevelop and build contacts at all levels within the customer baseCandidate Profile -You have sales experience, ideally within industrial gases and/or the research sectorGood communication skills and commercial acumenPersonal effectiveness including time management, self-motivation and planning to maximise contact time with customersYou have the ability to understand customer processes, and willingness to continuously build your PSO knowledge and sales capabilityIdeally a tertiary qualification in a science or technical subjectYou will have a high level of personal integrity which will guide your decision making and the way you approach the role
